Woodhall School held a “Dress to Express” day, in February, to raise important awareness and to shine a spotlight on children’s and young people’s mental health.

Children were encouraged to have a non-uniform day and use clothing, whether an outfit, colour, or accessory, to express themselves. This day allowed and encouraged open dialogue around children’s mental health. This enabled children to know that it is good to talk; that they are not alone and that support is available.

Parents sent in money, to support the day and they raised £117, which the School donated to the Kernos Centre.

Thank you to the School, parents and children, for supporting the Kernos Centre again, and helping us to continue our work supporting children and young people.
