Graham has played a central role in the story of Kernos since the very beginning. As Chairman of the Kernos Centre from its opening in 2003 through to his retirement from the role in 2026, his leadership, commitment, and vision have been instrumental in shaping the organisation into what it is today. While he has stepped down as Chairman, we are pleased that Graham continues to contribute as a valued member of the Board of Directors.

Originally from New Zealand, Graham moved to the UK in 1989, bringing with him a strong technical background. He trained in Information Technology and Telecommunications with the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority and Philips, before building his career in the UK with organisations including Telephone Rentals, Mercury Communications, Bosch-Telenorma, and Reuters.

Alongside his extensive business and technical expertise, Graham holds a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. This unique combination of skills has been a significant asset to Kernos over the years – bringing together strong commercial insight with a genuine understanding of the counselling environment and the needs of both practitioners and clients.

Graham also runs Foxhall Solutions, a family business providing computer and telephone systems across East Anglia. His experience in this field has supported practical, effective decision-making within Kernos, particularly in ensuring that infrastructure and systems meet the needs of a modern counselling service.

He lives with his partner Linda and their lively pack of Border Collies. Graham’s longstanding dedication to Kernos leaves a lasting legacy, and we are grateful that he continues to share his experience and insight as part of the Board.
