Brother and sister, 10 year-old Bella-Rose and 6 year-old Harley Cole, held a stall at Fordham Boot Sale, on Sunday 14th August. They had donated some of their toys and drew posters to encourage other people to donate items, and these were displayed locally, weeks before the event.

While their parents had a stall next to them, on this very hot day, the children manned their own, determined to raise money for their chosen charity. Their enthusiasm and effort raised over £82.00 for Kernos, in order to help other children who need counselling support.
They knew of Kernos because their mother, Stacey Cole is a counsellor here, and works with children at the Kernos Centre .
Everyone at Kernos is so grateful to them for choosing Kernos as the charity they wanted to support. Counselling Director Chris Boatwright said, “ Despite their young age, their kindness and generosity of spirit has inspired us all at Kernos and will also inspire and motivate other young people, to know that they too, can succeed and make a difference.”
