The Kernos Centre is delighted to announce that it has received a grant of £1,250 from Great Cornard Parish Council to support the delivery of subsidised mental health and counselling services for residents in the Great Cornard area.
The funding will make a direct difference to local people who access Kernos for counselling support, helping ensure that more residents can receive professional, person-centred support when they need it.
Michelle Argent, CEO of The Kernos Centre, said:
“We are extremely grateful to Great Cornard Parish Council for recognising the importance of accessible mental health support and for investing in the wellbeing of their residents. This funding will help people feel heard, supported and better able to move forward with their lives.”
The grant will help The Kernos Centre continue to provide affordable counselling for people experiencing a range of emotional and mental health challenges, ensuring that financial circumstances are not a barrier to accessing support.
The Kernos Centre would like to thank Great Cornard Parish Council for this valuable contribution and for helping to make counselling more accessible to people across the local community.
