Ann joined Kernos in April 2026 as a Funding & Finance Volunteer, where she assists with administrative tasks that help maintain accurate financial processes and support funding activities.
Motivated by a strong desire to give back to her local community, Ann is passionate about supporting the work of Kernos. She brings extensive experience in managing complex information and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. Her previous success in securing research grants provides valuable insight into funding processes, which she now applies in a charitable context.
Ann lives in Sudbury. Outside of volunteering, she is an enthusiastic hiker and has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Athabasca, Mount Fuji, and Mount Toubkal. She also enjoys both downhill and cross-country skiing. To relax, Ann practices Pilates and enjoys gardening.
