Sudbury Area Cancer Support Group donate £200 to Kernos

The Sudbury Area Cancer Support Group recently donated £200 to Kernos in recognition of the help and assistance the Centre can provide to people suffering from the emotional and psychological effects of their cancer diagnosis.

Professional support through what is inevitably a very difficult time can have a positive, therapeutic benefit for cancer sufferers’ well-being.

In making the donation to Kernos, Ruth Worsley of the SACSG acknowledged this beneficial effect, saying: “Keep up the good work, you make our life easier knowing you are there!”

Chris Boatwright, Kernos Clinical Director, said in response: Kernos is able to provide a complementary service to the SACSG to help local people affected by cancer, so we are very pleased to be able to offer practical support to members of the Group whenever it’s appropriate”.
