More counselling help for disadvantaged people in Sudbury

During November Kernos has been fortunate enough to receive further funding to help us provide counselling for disadvantaged local people.

This funding has included donations from the Sapphire PP Grant-Making Fund (£4,600) and from the Suffolk Giving Fund (£2,000), this latter amount specifically to provide counselling for the unemployed.

Together these generous donations will pay for over 330 fully-funded sessions of professional counselling and support for disadvantaged people in Sudbury and the surrounding area suffering from emotional and psychological difficulties.

Sudbury Town Council has also generously donated £1,250 of unrestricted funding, which allows us to continue to deliver on our unique promise – to ensure that those most in need receive appropriate, effective and ongoing help, regardless of their resources, for as long as required.

You could also help Kernos deliver on this unique promise by providing ‘unrestricted’ funding directly – this can be done either by:

1) sending a cheque, made out to Kernos Centre’, 32-34 Friars Street, Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 2AG

or:

2) clicking on the Donate Now’ button at the top of the this page, and following the instructions

If you are a taxpayer, your contribution could also be eligible for Gift Aid – which means that every £10 contributed is worth £12.50 to us. For a Gift Aid Declaration form, please contact us – either at the above address or by e-mail at admin@kernos.org
