Kernos receives £2750 for Children and Young People counselling.

Children and Young People with emotional, psychological and mental health problems can benefit enormously from counselling and, right from its inception, Kernos has made treatment of this vulnerable group one of its priorities.

The Young Voices comments and videos here testify to the welcome effectiveness of such therapy in helping young people turn their lives around.

In order to help Kernos continue to provide this valuable service the Suffolk Community Foundation has recently awarded it £2000 from the Bluebell Fund, while Clopton Hall Farms have also generously donated £750 for that same purpose.

Together this funding will pay for over 90 fully-funded (or upwards of 130 part-funded) counselling sessions specifically geared to helping Children and Young People in Sudbury and the surrounding area.

You could provide an addition to this vital funding either by:

1) sending a cheque, made out to Kernos Centre’, 32-34 Friars Street, Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 2AG

or:

2) clicking on the Donate Now’ button at the top of the this page, and following the instructions

If you are a taxpayer, your contribution could also be eligible for Gift Aid – which means that every £10 contributed is worth £12.50 to us. For a Gift Aid Declaration form, please contact us – either at the above address or by e-mail at admin@kernos.org
