Kernos enters the Sudbury Fun Run…

…and the Walk!

Anne-DennisSue-NewtonKernos Counsellors Anne Dennis and Sue Newton have both entered the 5-mile Walk that accompanies the Sudbury Fun Run, which is taking place on Good Friday, 3rd April.

They will be following in the footsteps of Anne‘s son Jonni – who is competing in the actual Fun Run itself – and all three are putting themselves through this experience in order to raise money for the Kernos Centre.

Their aim is to supplement the funding that Kernos will be receiving as the 2015 Fun Run’s selected local charity beneficiary – and also to celebrate the 12th Anniversary of the founding of Kernos itself!

Anne (above left), Sue and Jonni would very grateful for any sponsorship you may be able to give – every penny will go to help the provision of the professional counselling and support that Kernos can provide for local people suffering from emotional and psychological difficulties.

Volunteers from Kernos will also be manning a stall in Belle View Park on the day, so you could make your donation in person – we’d be very happy to see you there!

If you are unable to be at the Fun Run– but would still like to help Kernos by providing vital funding – you can do so either by:

1) sending a cheque, made out to ‘The Kernos Centre’, to Kernos Centre, 32-34 Friars Street, Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 2AG

or:

2) clicking on the ‘Donate Now’ button at the top of this screen, and following the instructions

If you are a taxpayer, your contribution could also be eligible for Gift Aid – which means that every £10 you contribute is worth £12.50 to Kernos. For a Gift Aid Declaration form, please contact the Centre – either at the above address, by phone on 01787 882883, or by e-mail at admin@kernos.org
