Grey Matter is a free event, being held in St Peter’s Church, Sudbury on 3rd August, from 12 noon to 5.00pm, to raise public awareness of the need for, and to help fund, mental health counselling for young people in Sudbury and the surrounding area
The Kernos Centre is very pleased that Grey Matter has chosen it as the local counselling charity best equipped to deliver this type of service. We will have a stand at the event, and will be able to explain to visitors how counselling can really help young people suffering with emotional and psychological difficulties.
The Mayor of Sudbury and South Suffolk MP James Cartlidge – an ardent supporter of the Centre’s work and a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Mental Health – have been invited to attend and a number of other agencies will also be present.
There will be live music and light refreshments available during the afternoon, so do come along and find out what we are doing to help young people talk about and cope with their mental health issues.
